Enjoy the British countryside at its best at the South of England Show. The three day show is a celebration of rural life and all it has to offer – from farming and food to crafts and entertainment. The South of England Show is the Society’s flagship event and a national institution – rejoicing in our countryside heritage while embracing the demands of the 21st century.
2010 promises to be a bumper year as the South of England Agricultural Society celebrates the “Year of Food & Farming”. The Show will have a strong focus on British food with a mouth-watering array of regional produce to enjoy alongside a host of countryside attractions. The spotlight will also focus on the best in British agriculture, equestrianism, horticulture, food and drink, country crafts, sports and entertainment.
One of the great crowd pleasers is the daily cattle and livestock parade which showcases the best of British agriculture and is always one of the most inspirational sights on the 150 acre showground. The main arena also hosts a colourful pageant and cavalcade of hounds in the finest traditions of the countryside.
