This weather-tight, insulated composter keeps your kitchen scraps and garden waste completely contained and out of sight while it converts them into nutrient-rich compost for your garden. The Aerobin® has flow-through ventilation and a self-draining floor to ensure an optimum balance of air, moisture, and temperature for efficient decomposition. Sturdy, double-wall polypropylene enclosure has removable doors on both front and back for easy access. Base section captures "compost tea" liquid fertilizer for indoor or outdoor plants.

The Aerobin 400 manufactured by Aerobin is an environment friendly waste disposal system promoting the aerobic and efficient break down of organic matter. Using a patented lung enclosed in a thermally insulated bin, the Aerobin 400 compost system helps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by composting kitchen scrap and garden waste to fertilisers which can be used on soil and plants.

The Aerobin 400 is an easy to use composting system. The home waste management procedure for the Aerobin 400 garden composting system involves four easy steps: opening the lid, pouring in the organic waste (food scraps, lawn clippings, leaves, twigs, newspaper etc.) waiting for the compost and drawing it out. The compost can be accessed at either side.

Comparative test results showed that Aerobin 400 was more efficient in producing mature compost tested over a three-month period. Aerobin 400’s waste management system broke down organic waste matter quicker due to its capability to generate higher temperatures of up to 10°.
