Ornate Garden Supports Staff Wellbeing with Garden Pod and Seating at George Eliot Hospital

Ornate Garden was proud to be part of the recent opening of the central courtyard garden at George Eliot Hospital. This newly transformed hospital garden offers staff a peaceful and tranquil retreat to relax and recharge, providing a dedicated space to enjoy a break from their demanding roles.

At the heart of the garden is an Ornate Garden Pod, generously donated by Ornate Garden, along with two of our Wheel Benches. The pod creates an all-weather, all-season area where hospital staff can pause, reflect, or meet in small groups. The Wheel Benches provide comfortable, sheltered outdoor seating, allowing staff to enjoy the garden throughout the year. Ornate Garden also supplied and installed these key elements, ensuring a seamless and welcoming space for staff wellbeing.

The courtyard garden forms part of the Trust’s HAVENS project, which focuses on creating green, restorative spaces for staff wellbeing. The project has been supported by NHS Charities Together and George Eliot Hospital Charity, with contributions helping to transform underutilised outdoor areas into spaces designed for relaxation, reflection, and connection.
